Since 1932, the Association’s primary focus has been to provide education and training opportunities for people working in the water and wastewater field. Recently, the Association has expanded its range of services to its membership, elected officials, the media, and the public, and it has become a prominent and authoritative source of information on water-related issues for the General Assembly.
The Annual Conference was set up as a symposium, offering numerous concurrent seminars addressing technical, regulatory, programmatic, and administrative issues for professionals, municipal and county government officials, utilities, and other persons interested in Georgia’s water resources. There was also an exhibit hall in which Nutter & Associates staffed a display booth and interacted with conference attendees.
There were numerous opportunities to socialize with former clients and city/county personnel, and we were proud to have made acquaintance with many fine persons with whom we hope to develop long-term business relations. We look forward to maintaining relationships with both old and new friends that we saw this year in Savannah, and we are excited about attending next year’s conference.
