Soil & Hydrologic Evaluation

Nutter & Associates provides assessment of non-point source pollution and waste impacts to soil, ground water and surface water quality. Our knowledgeable professionals have performed environmental assessments for properties ranging from small tracts of land to military bases with complex environmental conditions covering thousands of acres. Phase I EAs are conducted in accordance with ASTM standards.

Nutter & Associates has conducted many stormwater and sediment assessments. Our background in soils and hydrology provides a solid technical framework for interpreting data in the context of current watershed conditions and land use patterns.

Utilizing both Trimble and Garmin Global Positioning Systems (GPS) receivers to acquire field data and Arc View Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for spatial analysis, Nutter & Associates integrates field data with natural resource, land use, soil and tax maps, aerial photography and other electronic data sources to provide answers to natural resource questions. The maps produced provide a clear graphical display that can be understood by technical and lay persons.
