Wade founded Nutter & Associates in 1984 (then known as Earth Systems Associates), and under his guidance the firm has become a US and international leader in the science of land application of domestic and industrial wastes.
Wade’s strong emphasis on the application of scientific principles to problem solving and expertise in hydrology and soils and support of related disciplines has contributed to a sound foundation for development of client services by the firm. Building upon the firm’s expertise across environmental disciplines, Wade provides expert testimony for clients in State and Federal courts.

Wade is also a Professional Hydrologist and Professor Emeritus of Soils and Hydrology at the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forest and Natural Resources. When he is not working, Wade enjoys sailing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
